We have further developed our established information security risk assessment methodology, making it quick and easy to use in today's modern and mobile work environment. This Apple iPad application progress through four sequential stages:

1. Recording details of the personnel undertaking the risk assessment, and determining the organisation's acceptable risk level.
2. Recording details of the asset being assessed, and the selection of the most appropriate asset risk assessment template.
3. Each template contains appropriate threats and vulnerabilities: the user assesses the probability and impact of each one.
4. When complete, the application calculates risk values, displaying a detailed report on screen which can also be emailed.

Quira Pro Lite is accompanied by a detailed User Manual, explaining in detail the methodology, how to get the best from the application, and how the results can be used for related activities. Quira Pro Lite will be useful for organisation who are seeking (or already have) ISO27001 certification. An additional module planned for Q1 2012 will further develop this application allowing for the selection of controls (from ISO27002), and the creation of a Statement of Applicability.
